Day 1: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

Start your adventure by heading to Lake Manyara National Park in the morning. This park is next to the Rift Valley Escarpment, known for its beautiful alkaline Lake Manyara. The lake often turns pink due to the arrival of flamingos during certain seasons, which is a sight to behold. You can also watch over 400 bird species, making it an excellent place for bird enthusiasts. During your exploration, you might spot giraffes, elephants, monkeys, and antelopes amidst the lush forest, acacia trees, and grasslands. You might even see the rare sight of tree-climbing lions, unique among these majestic felines. After a day of exploring, you can retire overnight at a campsite in Mto wa Mbu.

Day 2: Lake Manyara Area to Serengeti National Park

Start your day with a delicious breakfast and embark on a memorable journey from Mto wa Mbu to the famous Serengeti National Park. The park offers a diverse landscape, including grass plains, savannahs, and woodlands, making it a perfect habitat for predators and prey. Serengeti is also home to the largest animal migration globally, where wildebeest and zebras travel through different seasons. Your expert guide will take you to the best wildlife viewing spots so you can witness this incredible phenomenon up close. Spend a night at a campsite in the heart of Serengeti, surrounded by nature’s beauty.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

As the sun rises, we will start our early morning drive to explore the vast plains of Serengeti. The Serengeti is home to many types of animals, like gazelles and impalas, which are prey to predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs. This makes Serengeti one of the top destinations in Africa to spot these majestic animals. After the game drive, we’ll enjoy a delicious breakfast before heading to Ngorongoro Crater. Once we reach the crater’s rim, we will be amazed by the stunning view of the 600-meter-deep caldera. We will spend the night at a campsite on the crater’s edge, enjoying the beautiful sunset over the glistening springs of the volcano’s floor. We will be served breakfast, lunch, and dinner during our trip.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Start your day with a delicious breakfast and get ready to explore the Ngorongoro Crater, which is a natural wonder in Tanzania. You will travel down a steep and narrow road to reach the crater, which is home to a variety of animals such as zebras, hippos, hyenas, wildebeests, and the famous Big Five (buffalo, rhino, lion, elephant, and leopard). You will enjoy the beautiful views and watching wildlife while having a picnic lunch. Afterward, you will leave the crater and return to Arusha, arriving late afternoon. This 4-day camping safari is a fantastic opportunity to experience Tanzania’s breathtaking landscapes and remarkable wildlife.
